COMMUNITY MEETING ON THE DRAFT 2040 PLAN FOR LOUDOUN COUNTY
Bluemont Community Center
33846 Snickersville Turnpike, Bluemont, Va.
The Loudoun Preservation and Conservation Coalition has compiled a slideshow exploring the projections from the current draft Loudoun 2040 Comprehensive Plan (“Envision Loudoun”). This community meeting will take a look at cold-hard-facts, show actual numbers, and take a closer look at what exactly this draft plan means for the citizens, in particular, of western Loudoun. As it stands, Loudoun’s rural character, historic landscape, and quality of life are in jeopardy and the citizens must be clear on what is planned for this county. Development, crushing traffic, and continued growth are coming this way. The Mosby Heritage Area Association and the Loudoun Preservation and Conservation Coalition are asking the citizens to stand up and let the Board of Supervisors know that the community needs more of a say in this plan.
This event is free and open to the public. No registration required. For more info, call 540-687-6681.
Sponsored by the Mosby Heritage Area Association.
